HDFC relocates Ambalangoda branch

HDFC Bank relocated its Ambalangoda branch recently to a more spacious location to accommodate its increasing customer base and to provide greater reach, convenience and an enhanced banking experience to its customers. 

The new premises located at No. 14, Wickramasooriya Road, Ambalangoda was declared open by Ambalangoda Urban Council Chairman of M.W. Aruna Pradeep along with HDFC Bank CEO and General Manager Palitha Gamage and the Chief Operating Officer M.K. Nambiyarooran. With the relocation of the branch, it is expected to provide an improved service experience to the people in Ambalangoda and suburbs. 

HDFC Bank originally opened a branch in Ambalangoda in 2015, with the objective of providing financial facilities for housing requirements of the people and has offered an immense financial support for the masses in the area during the period. 

Expressing views at the event, CEO Palitha Gamage said that the bank is committed to providing efficient, technology driven banking products and services across the country through the network of branches and he further said that the bank is already taken the necessary steps to safeguard the customers from the risks of cyber breaches.

At present, the HDFC performs a key role in providing housing loans for the customers whilst maintaining and encouraging a scheme of tailor-made savings and deposits for groups of all ages, gold loan, leasing, micro finance, education loans and SME development loans. With the expertise and knowledge in the housing finance sector, HDFC Ambalangoda branch will continue to enrich the lives of its residents by providing several tailor made loan schemes including ‘Kedella’ home loan scheme that provides financial facilities upon primary mortgage of a property and ‘Shrama Udana’ loan scheme that provides financial assistance based on the EPF as a security. In addition, it also provides an exclusive gold loan service, education loans, leasing facilities and a range of SME and development banking facilities.
