The Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE) signed an agreement with AIA Insurance Lanka PLC to highlight benefits of Life Insurance for reducing life-related risks at their monthly membership meeting held at Jetwing Colombo Seven recently.

The MoU was signed by AIA Life Insurance Lanka PLC Chief Executive Officer Pankaj Banerjee and COYLE Chairman Dinuk Hettiarachchi in the presence of AIA senior officials and executives and COYLE Vice Chairman Aaminda Rodrigo and COYLE members.

AIA Insurance CEO Pankaj Banerjee said: “This newly formed partnership between COYLE and AIA Insurance demonstrates our continuing commitment to play a lead role in the country’s life insurance sector. The alliance that we have forged is aimed at providing COYLE companies with the necessary assistance and guidance needed in eliminating undue life related risks thus furthering their growth and development of their businesses.”

“We believe that this agreement further strengthens our ability to perform at premium, as it eliminates a substantial source of uncertainty in life and allows us to focus on execution in our core businesses,” said COYLE Chairman Dinuk Hettiarachchi. “We are certain that the benefits from AIA, a leader in the industry with its specialised expertise and successful client relationships, make them well positioned in the market. We look forward to working with AIA to support our life insurance needs.”

The Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE) in 1999 commenced its journey towards regenerating the corporate sector, by presenting itself as the milieu that bridges the gap between fundamental business segments in Sri Lanka. Instigated by 17 promising entrepreneurs, COYLE created and enhanced a pro-business environment, which is currently steered by 116 significant members of the Sri Lankan corporate community in investment, finance and industrial sectors.
