Asian Confederation of Asian Credit Unions forum begins in Colombo

The annual forum of the Association of Asian Confederation of Asian Credit Unions (ACCU), hosted by the SANASA Federation of Sri Lanka (Federation of Thrift and Credit Co-operative Societies Ltd. in Sri Lanka), began yesterday with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe attending as the Chief Guest.

The forum comes to Sri Lanka after 10 years as the SANSA Federation in Sri Lanka has previously hosted the event in 1985, 1995 and 2006. Over 400 delegates representing 32 countries are attending the forum under the theme ‘Building Bridges Together to Create Value for People and Communities’. 

The forum will share insights and find solutions to pressing issues that hinder the development of credit unions in the region.
