Glover Daniels and Eco Lanka Consultants to conduct ‘Principles of Sustainability’ workshop

British Sri Lankan owned and managed human capital consulting group Glover Daniels International together with Eco Lanka Consultants, young start up passionate about creating a culture of sustainable living, will be conducting an interactive workshop on the ‘Principles of Sustainability’. 

The workshop is aimed at organisations wanting to become more sustainable, or are facing challenges in implementing sustainable practices or plant to expand into new markets and SMEs. It will be conducted by Dinali Dandeniya, Lead of the Consultancy Team of Glover Daniels International, Sashan Rodrigo, Co-Founder of Eco Lanka Consultants and environmental consultant and Sanuri Trikawalagoda, Associate at Eco Lanka Consultants whose focus is on women’s empowerment and gender issues.

UK qualified professional corporate trainer Dinali has over 20 years’ experience in developing operations and people, in addition to her expertise as a Life Coach, Motivational Speaker, Certified DiSC Trainer and Entrepreneur. Sashan, qualified in the USA possesses work experience spanning NGOs, local non-profits, private sector and higher educational institutions in Sri Lanka and the USA with a focus on urban livelihoods, water policy, water energy, food and eco-system nexus, urban water conservation and education and urban water governance and institutions. Sanuri’s experience spans Sri Lanka and Malaysia which includes a drought impact assessment and climate action project. 

Eco Lanka Consultants Chief Business Development Officer Niro Perera says, “The USP in this workshop is that it covers topics that generally go unnoticed – for example, how SDGs can be an asset to an organisation’s growth, the challenges of applying the 3Ps and SDGs and how to avert these challenges and how performance can be measured through SDGs.” Other key topics covered are female representation in the workplace, carbon neutrality, product life cycles and sustainable operations in daily activities.
