Valentine’s Day is all about sharing your love with those nearest and dearest to you. And so, Abans have organised a Family Valentine’s Gala on Saturday 14 February from 5 p.m. onwards at Abans Elite Showroom, Kollupitiya, where the whole family can get together for an evening of fun and romance with games and competitions for children and adults with loads of prizes and gifts. Those who were fortunate enough to be present at Abans Valentine’s Gala last year will recall how they were pampered with gifts and what a rollicking time they had. Last year it was for lovers and couples, this year it’s for families, but the theme will be the same – ‘fun and romance’. There will be separate games for husband and wife, the whole family, and only for children. The child who will be able to express his/her love for the parents by song, poem or words will receive a special prize. So, parents can help their child/children practice and prepare for the competition. There will also be a Valentine’s card making competition for the children to present to their parents expressing their love and Abans Chefs will demonstrate how to prepare special Valentine’s pizzas. A Spokesperson for Abans said that by their experience in previous years where the turnout was more than anticipated, they will be compelled to restrict the numbers, and request those who are interested to please call 072 6341786 and register their participation early. And they also request participants to come early for the program as there will be special gifts for the early birds.
