‘Dora: The Lost City of Gold’ in Lankan cinemas from today

American adventure film ‘Dora: The Lost City of Gold’ will be released today in six Sri Lankan cinemas. 

They are Liberty by Scope Cinemas, Colombo City Centre, MC Cinemas, Empire Cinema, 

NIT Kurunegala and Ratnapura.

A live-action adaptation and continuation of Nickelodeon and Nick Jr.’s television series Dora the Explorer, stars Isabela Moner as the title character, with Eugenio Derbez, Michael Peña, Eva Longoria, and Danny Trejo in supporting roles.

Having spent most of her life exploring the jungle with her parents, nothing could prepare Dora for the most dangerous adventure ever – high school. Always the explorer, Dora quickly finds herself leading Boots (her best friend, a monkey), her cousin Diego, and a rag tag group of teens on an adventure to save her parents and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost Inca civilisation.
