Lanka IOC commissioned fully modernised petrol shed in Battaramulla

Lanka IOC always endeavours to enhance its footprints across island with enhanced customer centric facilities leveraging technology and connecting with its esteemed customers. Lanka IOC is committed to play a vital role in fulfilling the energy needs of the country. 

Underlining the importance of brand visibility and exploring new opportunity to serve its valued customers, Lanka IOC added one more petrol shed at Battaramulla, in the property of Jayantha Udaya Kumara. It was inaugurated by High Commission of India Colombo Economic and Commercial Head Dr. Rakesh Pandey and Lanka IOC Managing Director Manoj Gupta in the presence of local dealers, esteemed customers and prominent persons of the industry. 

Dr. Pandey in his address appreciated efforts of Lanka IOC for increasing footprints and serving the nation with commitment. He also said that this will go a long way in building strong bonding and bilateral relation of both the Countries, Sri Lanka and India. 

Managing Director Manoj Gupta, while expressing his views during the occasion, highly appreciated the way the country handled the COVID-19 global pandemic, becoming a role model for other countries. The supreme leadership, the strict enforcement of the directives, the role being played by the tri-forces and health care sector, and the discipline exhibited by the citizens have been instrumental in containing the spread of the virus.

Gupta stated that apart from regular modern facilities such as canopy, RVI, sales building, paved driveway, digital air gauge; Lanka IOC has gone a step ahead by providing contactless payment solution powered by SOLO app at this RO. 

He further added that Lanka IOC is committed to always bringing world class customer centric facilities at Petrol sheds to enhance customers delight. Gupta also added that Lanka IOC has heavily invested in technological upgrading and solarisation of petrol sheds across island. Recently Lanka IOC has commissioned 10 nos. of ATM/CRMs of People’s/ DFCC bank at different strategic petrol sheds in and around Colombo. 

This unprecedented effort by LIOC stands as a testament to their commitment to serve valued customers in a better way. Jayantha Udaya Kumara, proprietor of the petrol shed, thanked all guests present during the inauguration of his shed.
