Helping students secure admissions to a world-renowned university and complete their degree programs entirely in Sri Lanka, the Curtin University Australia in partnership with SLIIT invites prospective applicants for their next intake. To date, more than 1,300 students have successfully graduated with a Curtin University Degree at SLIIT.

Ranked in the top 1% of universities worldwide in the Academic Ranking of World Universities 2019, Curtin University is internationally recognised for its strong connections with industry, high-impact research, a wide range of innovative courses offering students a fresh, global perspective. 

Graduating from a university among the top 1% of universities in the world provides students a competitive edge in employment opportunities worldwide. Students studying Curtin Degrees at SLIIT are eligible to complete one semester in Curtin Western Australia or at any Curtin regional campus in Singapore, Malaysia, Mauritius or Dubai at no additional cost.

Curtin University Degree programs in IT and Engineering can be completed entirely in Sri Lanka at SLIIT.  The Curtin Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) offers specialisation in areas such as electrical and electronics, civil and construction and mechanical engineering.

While the Curtin Engineering Degrees are ranked among the top 150 in the world for engineering degrees, SLIIT remains as the only Australian university engineering degree program provider in Sri Lanka accredited by Engineers Australia. Upon completion, a student is professionally recognised as a qualified engineer who can work in Australia or anywhere else in the world. 

Students can save more than 80% of the international student tuition fees that they would otherwise pay in Australia to obtain the same qualification by studying Curtin degrees at SLIIT.

Students are also assured that academic curriculum, teaching, learning resources and facilities available for the degree program are of similar quality standards required in Australia. 

Upon completing the degree at SLIIT as a Curtin Engineering graduate, students may be eligible to apply for an Australian Skilled Recognised Graduate Visa (Subclass 476). This visa permits recent engineering graduates of recognised institutions to gain up to 18 months of skilled work experience. 

Students can also obtain computing qualifications from Curtin University such as the Bachelor of Information Technology, the Bachelor of Computing Software Engineering Major or the Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Networking. 

Curtin Computing degrees are ranked among the top 150 in the world for science/technology degrees and are accredited by the Australian Computer Society (ACS) 

In addition to the qualification of being recognised locally as the highest world university ranked IT degree that can be completed in Sri Lanka (or in the South Asian region), the cost is 80% less when compared to the same degree in Australia.
