LYBS Master Roasters announces LYBS Café opening in Kandy

LYBS Lanka Ltd. Founder, Director and CEO Sampath Senanayake announced the opening of the LYBS Café at Gatambe recently, following the growing demand for a café of this nature in the vicinity. 

This quaint environmental friendly palette-wood designed café introduces its unique green coffee bean extract – the world’s most popular health weight-loss supplement from Arabica green coffee bean extract. In addition to other specialty beverages such as Smooth Café, Ceylon Espresso, Drip Coffee bags, Masala Spiced Tea also known as Masala Chai, the café also serves Cappucino, Americano, Latte and Espresso. The new range of flavours offer exciting new ways to enjoy a good cup of coffee or tea with the option of purchasing packs of Arabica Coffee (beans and powder) and Masala Chai, drip coffee bags, Cinnamon Tea and Ceylon Tea. The Café with its rustic charm has been designed to satisfy foodies too with a range of savouries such as kochchi sambol toasties, cup-cakes and cookies. 

With health and ethical consumer awareness trends on the rise, LYBS Coffee maintains sustainable practices, making its customers aware about where their coffee comes from. LYBS “organic shade-grown coffee,” is cropped without the use of harmful pesticides and chemical fertilisers and is shade grown under the natural canopy of the forest, thus protecting the environment.

Each quality beverage of LYBS Cafe is handcrafted by an expert Barista using LYBS’s secret roasting method and the purest coffee extraction method in their state-of-the-art ‘Good Manufacturing Practice’ certified factory. 

LYBS master roasters adopt a unique roasting process in order to keep the flavour constant. All the coffee roasted during the day is packaged within the day to preserve its aromatic characteristics. The coffee is packaged in bags in a protected atmosphere thus protecting our coffee’s aroma. This process ensures a purer blend for a strong but smooth taste, mixed with velvety milk that makes a LYBS Coffee heavenly and creamy.

LYBS Café is located at No 742/A, Peradeniya Road, Gatambe, Kandy (opposite Commercial Bank) in a commercial area. The café cum handicraft shop will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mon-Sat and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays and will provide a first-class service of quality hot and cold beverages with snacks.
