Best Bavarian Wares at Oktoberfest at the Edge

Colombo’s favourite entertainment hub Waters Edge will be the home for Oktoberfest at the Edge from 26-29 October. The revelries will commence from 6 p.m. onwards on 26 and 27 October and 12 noon onwards on 28 and 29 October. In true Oktoberfest grandeur a Bavarian band will be specially flown in for the occasion while renowned local bands like the Slipping Chairs and Magic Box Mix-Up will also entertain crowds throughout the four days. 

In addition to this, there will be several exciting Oktoberfest games that will take place for the first time in Sri Lanka like the Virtual Reality Apple Hunt, Oktoberfest Cup Challenge, Oktoberfest Mug Slide, Oktoberfest Teufelsrador the Devils Wheel, “Bob the Apple” and Beer Pong.

One of the highlights will be the traditional Bavarian delicacies like crispy Hendl (fried chicken), juicy Weisswurst (white sausage), soft Brezn (Bavarian pretzel), and Classic Haxn (Bavarian pork knuckle), must-have Sauerkraut and of course traditional desserts that will be made available for purchase. Furthermore, the highlight of the festival will be a wide range of brew which will be made available to celebrate the true spirit of Oktoberfest. 

Oktoberfest at Waters Edge is held in association with Qatar Airways, Commercial Bank (Official Banking Partner), Elephant House (Official Food Partner), BMW & SIXT (Official Travel Partner), Coke (Official Soft Drink Partner), and YES FM and Legends (Official Radio Partner).

Entrance tickets are priced at Rs. 1,000 per person inclusive of two beverages. Kids between the ages 12-6 will be half price inclusive of a soft drink and kids below the age of 6 will be FOC.
