SAITM Students Action Committee conducts Bodhi Poojawa

The Students Action Committee of the South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine (SAITM) conducted a Bodhi Poojawa at the Bellanwila Rajamaha Viharaya. The religious ceremony was held to invoke blessings towards the students, staff members and the management of SAITM. 

 “The purpose of this exercise was to invoke blessings for the students and staff of SAITM. We believe compassion is the answer and we wish to remain composed with the hope that we will be allowed to continue our studies, complete our degrees and be of service to our nation. The ceremony was participated and supported by not merely the Buddhist students but students from different religious backgrounds coming together as one,” Student Action Committee Convener Shanaka de Saram said.
