Wellawatta Nithyakalyani Jewellery donates books to army officers’ children

Wellawatta Nithyakalyani Jewellery donated school books and instruments to children of retired army officers and disabled officers at the Panagoda Army camp recently. CEO A.P. Jayarajah and Associate Partner Dhivakar Balasubramanim of Wellawatta Nithyakalyani Jewellery participated in this event while Commander – Volunteer Force Major General Jagath S. Gunawardane and a host of army personnel graced the occasion.  Addressing the gathering Jayarajah stated, “I always appreciate the service of the forces who are dedicated to safeguard the country. It is the duty of every citizen to help the army soldiers’ families in every possible manner.” He added that the company is determined to conduct the book donation campaign which was successfully held in recent years, as an annual event every December.
