Vintage meets heritage

The Vintage Car Owners Club (VCOC) jointly teamed up with Mount Lavinia Hotel to commemorate the International Day for Older Persons on Sunday 30 September. Extending her caring hand of hospitality, the hotel was the chief sponsor of the event. 

One-hundred-and-fifty elders were invited and facilitated at the Regency Hall with a lunch buffet and an afternoon tea. Adding to the ambience of the treat was the display of classic motor vehicles at the Hotel Courtyard. Over 30 vintage vehicles, some as old as 100 years were on showcase for both guests and the invitees of the ‘elders treat’.
