Siddhalepa corporate social activities began in the new year and new decade beginning 2020 on Duruthu Full Moon Poya Day at the Kelaniya Rajamaha Viharaya.

The Siddhalepa thirst aid centre positioned in a key location in the temple premises catered to devotees and visitors to the temple, for the Duruthu Perehera. AquaLive a new fresh, herbal natural drink was served to all who passed by during the day and the traditional Siddhalepa herbal drink Lak Peyawa was served at the station from evening and into the night.

The thirst aid station at the Kelaniya Temple during the Duruthu Perahera heralds a series of such time-bound traditions of CSR activities conducted throughout the year in the most venerated Buddhist, Hindu and Christian places of worship.

The thirst aid station at religious places of worship has been a Siddhalepa tradition with a long history, and is constantly upgraded, with new products to keep pilgrims and visitors to the country’s most popular places of worship energised and hydrated.

Each year at the Dalada Perahera in Kandy in July /August and the with the commencement of the Sri Pada season in December which continues until May the following year, Siddhalepa upgrades their services to a first aid station providing in addition to the beverages,  Siddhalepa balm massages and treatment for weary pilgrims.

Thirst aid stations are also held at the Kataragama (Devale) Festival, Tissamaharamaya Temple festival, Anuradhapura Somawathiya Chaithiya, Poson Poya Festival at Mihintale and the Bellanvila temple in Colombo.

The Siddhalepa Group also takes a lead in creating a clean and orderly environment in these places of worship, by enforcing effective garbage management systems.  The garbage disposal mechanism introduced by the company in all religious sites include separate disposal bins for biodegradables, plastic and polythene refuse.

The disposal bins with the Siddhalepa logo and signage on keeping the environment clean has now become a familiar sight at religious sites.

Throughout the year Siddhalepa Group extends their support and care to protect our environment and keep the pilgrims and visitors who make their annual ritual to religious sites with their first and thirst aid stalls and garbage management systems.

Among the many temples, kovils and churches that receive the patronage of the Siddhalepa Group are Yudaganawa Temple, Yakkala Temple, Dewinuwara Temple, Aluth Nuwara Temple, Saman Dewalaya, Getambe Dewalaya, Welle Dewalaya, Seenigama Devalaya, Saman Dewalaya, Mahiyangana Viharaya,
