Nations Trust Bank’s 20th anniversary reforestation initiative

Nations Trust Bank has partnered with the Sri Lanka Army to reforest eight acres of land in close proximity to the Wilpattu National Park. The initiative commenced on 18 October with a tree planting exercise supported by the Sri Lanka Army and over 100 representatives of Nations Trust Bank. Nations Trust Bank Deputy CEO Priyantha Talwatte had the honour of planting the first tree.

This reforesting initiative is one of many planned as part of Nations Trust Bank’s 20th Anniversary goals, which include the reforestation of 20 acres of land in Sri Lanka. The bank is committed to creating a sustainable future and has also implemented a plan that aims to transform its entire business into a carbon neutral operation.
