Dell ‘Save the Waves’ cleans Kalutara Beach as third phase

Dell Technologies successfully completed Dell ‘Save the Waves’ beach clean-up initiative at Kalutara beach with the participation of over 130 volunteers. Following a successful clean-up session in Trincomalee, the Kalutara clean-up session saw the presence of travel influencer Travel with Wife and volunteers of Road to Rights foundation. The Marine Environment protection authority also supported the initiative with insights and knowledge sharing. Over 355 kg of plastic waste and 140 kg of glass waste were collected and transported to recycling centres.  This year’s beach clean-up will be rounded off at the Uswetakeiyawa beach with the final event celebrating and reviewing the progress of the whole project scheduled at the BMICH on 26 October, in Colombo which would also feature awarding of Dell Laptops to the winners of the all island children’s art competition.
