Amãna Bank assists less-privileged children through EDEX Nenapahana

Students walking away with Amãna Bank sponsored schooling packs at EDEX Nenapahana

Amãna Bank recently partnered with EDEX Nenapahana as its Principal Sponsor in an initiative to reach out to students in need. EDEX Nenapahana, the CSR arm of EDEX, held an event coinciding with EDEX Expo 2020 in which they distributed essential schooling packs, which was sponsored by the Bank, to over 100 students from two rural schools. 

Amãna Bank’s Head of Legal Sulani Dayaratne, Amãna Bank OrphanCare Head Azad Zaheed, Manager – Corporate Communications and Marketing Azim Rali and Amãna Bank Orphan Care Manager Marshad Barry graced the occasion, in which they handed over schooling packs to the deserving students. 

Amãna Bank Orphan Care Manager Marshad Barry also addressed the gathering, during which he highlighted about the Bank’s flagship CSR project Amãna Bank Orphan Care and how, in a short period of time, it has reached over 2,600 orphans in the country, irrespective of their race, ethnicity 

or religion.
