www.di.lk scores two awards at SLT Zero One Awards

Ceylon Leather Products Limited’s innovative website has been honoured with two important accolades at the second annual SLT Zero One Awards. www.di.lk was adjudged the winner in the prestigious “Best Website or Microsite - Retail Sector” category, while also being recognised with a “2nd Runner-up” nod in the “Best Website or Microsite - Manufacturing, Transportation, Storage and Logistics Sector” category. The DI website was recently revamped and relaunched by Sri Lanka-based design and digital agency Digibrush. Incidentally, the agency also previously won at the international WebAwards 2018 again for the DI website.

Commenting on the accolade received, Digibrush CEO and Co-Founder Hisham Zulfiqar stated: “2018 has been quite an amazing year for us at Digibrush. Winning 5 awards in multiple categories ranging from web development to digital media marketing is a reiteration of how strong our foothold is in the digital sphere, especially in the retail industry. These achievements are the collaborative successes of digital strategists, art directors, data scientists, PPC specialists, designers and developers, all working in harmony.” 

Held for the second consecutive year in mid-December 2018, the SLT Zero One Awards for Digital Excellence is dedicated to recognising institutions, individuals and brands that have made significant achievements by leveraging digital technologies. 2018’s competition saw 136 awards handed out to a highly creative and diverse pool of talent, which was fed by a large number of applications spanning sectors such as financial, information, travel and leisure, media and publishing, health care and personal services, professional services, retail, manufacturing, transportation, storage and logistics, Government institutions and NGOs.

This was the second time www.di.lk was recognised with a major award in 2018, with the website also having wwbeen adjudged “Best Fashion or Beauty Website” at the worldwide WebAwards 2018 in September for digital excellence in design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting and ease of use.
