Exterminators Sri Lanka record 36% reduction in carbon emissions

Exterminators Sri Lanka were recently recognised by Sri Lanka’s leading sustainability solutions provider – ‘The Carbon Consulting Company’, for recording a 36% reduction in carbon emissions. Exterminators were the first internationally certified CarbonNeutral pest control company in Asia and continue to maintain its CarbonNeutral status.dhfh

Talking about the company’s achievement, Carbon Consulting Company CEO Sanith de S. Wijeyeratne commented, “Exterminators have been Sri Lanka’s sole internationally certified green pest control provider for the last two consecutive years. They have been diligent in monitoring, managing and actively searching for ways to lessen its environmental impact. I’m happy to report that this year, Exterminators have reduced their carbon footprint by 36%, which is a noteworthy achievement. On behalf of Carbon Consulting Company, I wish to offer my heartiest congratulations to the team at Exterminators for their achievements in the last two years in becoming a more ecologically friendly organisation.”

Vivian Frost – Regional Representative of the UK’s – The CarbonNeutral Company, the world’s leading retailer of carbon offsets, was present during the handing over of the Carbon Neutral certificate.
