Work on Hayleys Group Advantis-managed Trustworthy.ae Group 3PL facility in Abu Dhabi starts

Dubai-based Trustworthy.ae Group has announced the ground-breaking of its first inland container depot and a third-party logistics facility in Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD).

Sri Lanka’s leading logistics partner Hayleys Advantis Ltd., the transportation and logistics arm of multinational conglomerate Hayleys Group, will operate and manage the state-of-the-art Inland Container Depot (ICD) and the third-party Container Freight Station (CFS).

Trustworthy.ae Group’s facilities, located in close proximity to the Khalifa Port, will be geared up to serve the expected rise of container volumes to 8.5 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) from existing 1.5 million TEUs per annum over the next five years.

Mobilisation work on the facilities will begin this month with the depot becoming operational in June this year while the logistics facility will be ready for business by the first quarter of 2020, the Group said in a statement.
