US Ambassador meets Malik

Ambassador of The United States of America in Sri Lanka Alaina B. Teplitz paid a courtesy call on the Development Strategies and International Trade Minister Malik Samarawickrama at the Ministry. Discussions were held towards further strengthening the bilateral relationship between Sri Lanka and the USA. Ambassador Teplitz was accompanied by Deputy Chief of Mission Robert Hilton and Economic/Commercial Officer Eduardo Garcia. Development Strategies and International Trade Ministry Secretary S. T. Kodikara and Technical Adviser to the Ministry Mangala Yapa also participated in the discussions.
