A Sri Lankan trade delegation organised by the Embassy of Sri Lanka and the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) visited Riyadh from 29 October to 1 November.

The objective of the visit was to build relationships and establish trade links with Saudi Arabian businessmen and companies.

The trade delegation comprised representatives of leading Sri Lankan business entities that are very active in the export, import and service sectors.

The visiting delegation had meetings with the Council of Saudi Chambers, Riyadh Chamber and the Saudi Fund for Development, the Saudi Export Program, Saudi Arabia Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) and other important business organisations and leading entrepreneurs.

The Commercial Section of the Sri Lanka Embassy, in collaboration with Riyadh Chamber of Commerce, organised a business networking session for the delegation to find business partners in their respective fields and arranged separate business meetings for individual companies of the delegation as well.
