Sri Lanka Entrepreneur & SME Network (SLESN), has been launched as a nonprofit by Sandbox Consultancy Services Ltd.

SLESN is an organisation created by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, driving the clear message of “Sri Lankan first” according to Sandbox.

Begun as a response to the COVID-19 impact to Sri Lankan entrepreneurs, SLESN is keen on establishing entrepreneur friendly policies among both public and private sectors.

“As innovators we understand that we need to lead a change for it to happen. We will focus on developing the right policies, regulations and frameworks that will ensure that Sri Lankan entrepreneurs in the future will have a strong, equal and relevant platform to create a value adding impact on our economy and grow-global,” a spokesperson said.

SLESN has announced the launch of its website www.slesn.org making it easier for entrepreneurs and SMEs around Sri Lanka to connect and join the initiative.

www.slesn.org is the first stepping stone towards an island wide coming together of Sri Lanka’s best and brightest entrepreneurs, small and macro businesses for the sustained growth of Sri Lankan industries by entrepreneurs and driving a “Sri Lankan First” business practice that is aimed at growing the Sri Lankan economy.
