Sri Lanka Retail Forum 2019

‘Shaping your Promise’ will explore the role of channels and supply management and will be the topic for session 1 at this year’s SLRF 2019. The promise you offer the customer is delivered through your channels and supply chains. In this context it is important that retailers understand how this will evolve in terms of speed, models and service levels and how to develop, so it is future-proof.

Optimising the processes in ways that your products and services can be delivered to customers efficiently is of great importance to every business. Retail supply chain management is how you enhance those processes to maximise both speed and efficiency. Businesses must be able to deliver their products or services to a consumer’s hands as fast as they can. However, these processes must be improved to be as efficient and as affordable as you can.

Some of the expert presenters lined up to reveal these insights during session 1 are MAS Kreeda CEO/Managing Director Sarinda Unamboowe, Affno Ltd. CEO Suren Kannangara, Expolanka Freight Director/CEO Jagath Pathirana, McKinsey Engagement Manager Dayan Jayasuriya and KPMG Principal Kamaya Perera as the panel moderator.

Sri Lanka’s retail industry comes together to identify new trends and map out new strategies at its premier knowledge event, Sri Lanka Retail Forum 2019, which is to be held on 26 and 27 November at Cinnamon Grand, Colombo. The forum is organised by Sri Lanka Retailers’ Association and will feature four thematic sessions, with local resource persons, and foreign experts in the global retail ecosystem.
