Rajitha Kariyawasan appointed Dipped Products Deputy Chairman

H.S. Rajitha Kariyawasan has been appointed as the Deputy Chairman of Dipped Products PLC in the executive capacity.

Kariyawasan joined the Hayleys Group in January 2010. He was appointed to the Group Management Committee in February 2010 and the Board of Hayleys PLC as an Executive Director in June 2010. 

He currently serves as Managing Director of Haycarb PLC and Hayleys Fibre PLC. He was also appointed to the Board of Dipped Products PLC in May 2016. 

Before joining the Hayleys Group, he held the positions of Director/General Manager of Ansell Lanka Ltd. and Chairman of the Manufacturing Association Export Processing Zone, Biyagama. Kariyawasan holds a B.Sc. Eng. (Electronics and Telecommunications) from the University of Moratuwa. He is also fellow member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CGMA/FCMA), UK. In addition, he is a Six Sigma (Continuous Improvement Methodology) Black Belt, certified by the Motorola University, Malaysia. His relevant Interest in shares of the Company as at date is 272,162 ordinary shares.
