Neptune Papers bags Silver at NCE Export Awards

Neptune Papers Ltd., the pioneer and one of the leading paper recycling companies in Sri Lanka, was named the winner of prestigious Silver Award in Large Category, Recycling Sector at the Annual NCE Export Awards – 2019 organised by the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka. The gala event was recently held at Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo. 

Located at Sedawatta Road, Wellampitiya, Neptune Papers is a paper recycling company specialised in the recycling and shredding of commercial and residential paper-based waste materials in an eco-friendly and efficient manner mainly for export purposes. 

The company owns a high-tech commercial recycling facility including a shredding machine with a capacity of shredding up to a ton of paper every hour. Neptune Papers undertake the recycling and shredding of all types of paper-based material like box board, old corrugated cartons, printing off cuts, textile tubes and tea sacks. 

The company collects and recycles any type of paper waste accumulated anywhere islandwide. Recycling ine MT of paper waste saves energy and the environment unbelievably. The effect on environment is equal to saving 17 fully grown trees, 1,755 litres of oil, 4,000 kwh of electricity, 31,780 litres of water, three cubic metres of landfill and reducing greenhouse gas emission by one MT of carbon.
