NCW Holdings attained the status of being, in the shortest time, the foremost International Company of Sri Lanka providing facilities management services. Recently, NCW Holdings received ISO 9001-2015 standard certificate offered by the Sri Lanka Standards Institute (SLSI). The special significance is NCW Holdings making history as the one and only institute to receive this standard certification, out of all organisations engaged in operations in this field in Sri Lanka.

NCW Holdings started its local operations in 2017. What is especially significant is NCW Holdings qualifying for this standard certification even before they completed two years of operations. NCW Holdings has been able to generate a large number of job opportunities competing with many other organisations.

NCW Holdings has acquired perfection through the operations of a group of disciplined and active young people. Their services extend beyond the beaten track. They make a concerted effort to give their clients a special experience utilising state-of-the-art technological tools swiftly and with commitment. NCW Holdings Sri Lanka conducts its operations as an affiliated branch of its mother organisation in Australia.

NCW Holdings Managing Director Naveen Wijewickrama is a young entrepreneur with an expert awareness acquired through several years of experience in the field of foreign and local hospitality services.

Wijewickrama stated: “I consider it my good fortune to have been able to start a branch of NCW Holdings in my mother country in 2017. This mother organisation was started in Australia way back in 2005. This gives me great pleasure. I experience a modest sense of pride at being able to receive ISO 9001-2015 standard certification, in such a short time, as the first organisation in Sri Lanka to be honoured that way. This achievement has been possible due to the steady commitment and the discipline of the members for the staff and the other employees.”

Continuing, Wijewickrama observed: “We were able, in this short period of time, to take the housekeeping field in this country to a new dimension. We have succeeded in providing our clientele a swift and reliable service in terms of internationally accepted standards, utilising new technologies at the highest possible level. In addition, we were able to provide job opportunities to more than 200 young men and women. Besides, our organisation has been able to provide the highest salaries and the fullest possible insurance cover, currently given to such employees in the housekeeping sector. I can say this with complete authority.”

SLSI Director General Dr. Siddhika Senaratne, who was present on this occasion, stated: “Thank you for selecting the Sri Lanka Standards Institution to obtain ISO 9001-2015 quality management certificate. NCW Holdings Ltd., with more than 15 years of international experience in the facility management sector, is a pioneer in the facility management industry in Sri Lanka, and today NCW Holdings Ltd. is awarded ISO 9001-2015 quality management certification following a rigorous procedure of auditing of their quality management system by the Sri Lanka Standards Institution and meeting the requirements of international standard of ISO 9001- 2015.

The quality management system is subject to a regular monitoring process operated by the Sri Lanka Standards Institution to ensure continual compliance with the requirement of the standard”.

This occasion was graced by a group of distinguished invitees, including representatives of the Sri Lanka Standards Institute and various enterprises.
