Mangala, Eran listen to Prof. Hausmann

Prof. Ricardo Hausmann, Director of the Centre for International Development and Professor of the Practice of Economic Development at Harvard University, met Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera and State Minister Eran Wickramaratne last week and conducted a timely lecture on factors that hinder the growth of sustainable livelihoods, as well as access to knowledge for economic development.A productive discussion ensued, where Prof. Hausmann shared insights from other countries and the keys that helped to propel economic development.
