KYS Security Service wins FCCISL silver awards

KYS Security Service, the trusted name for security solutions for over 15 years, was the proud recipient of two silver awards at the Entrepreneur of the Year awards ceremony organised by the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industries in Sri Lanka. The silver awards were for national level medium category and Uva Province’s medium category respectively. 

Having started with just five security officers in 2004, KYS Security Service has expanded, over the years, island wide with over 1,000 officers serving in both state and private sector institutions. The company has also offered more than 1,000 indirect employments by way of purchasing uniforms and other essentials.  KYS Security Service which is registered under the Ministry of Defence is the number one security service in Uva Province with its head office located at A 50, Wele Kade Shopping Complex, Badulla. Previously, the company has won many accolades including merits awards from the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industries in Sri Lanka and Ceylon National Chamber of Industries. KYS has extended its arms to manpower supply, janitorial services and hotels trade. KYS Founder Deshamanya Kumarawansha expressed his heart felt gratitude to all the staff members for their contribution in achieving this remarkable feat. Presently Deshamanya Kumarawansha is the Secretary of Chamber of Commerce and Industries in Uva Province. He has also served as President of the National Constructors Association of Uva Province and President of the Lions Club of Badulla. He is a well-known social worker and philanthropist in the area.
