Japanese envoy calls on State Minister Chanaka

Ambassador of Japan in Sri Lanka Akira Sugiyama paid a courtesy call on State Minister of Aviation and Export Zone Development D. V. Chanaka this week at the Ministry. 

Among the many fields that were discussed were fast-tracking the development of terminal II at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake, increasing Japanese investors investing in Sri Lanka and exporting Sri Lankan products through air. 

Aviation and Export Zone Development State Ministry Secretary Madhava Devasurendra also participated in the discussion.
