H20 ONE appoints new CEO

H20 ONE Ltd (H201) has announced that they have appointed Chaminda Lakmal as Chief Executive Officer effective from 1 August. 

Lakmal has over 12 years of industry experience and is a Chemical and Process Engineering graduate from University of Peradeniya. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka, Institute of Chemical Engineers UK and of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers, Senior Member of American Institute of Chemical Engineers.   

Lakmal has extensive experience in design, installation, testing and commissioning, operation, and maintenance of different types of water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, solid waste management systems. He is specialised in delivering robust user-friendly designs and solutions to clients and has expertise in zero liquid discharge systems, zero sludge systems and bio augmentation.  H201 Chairman Dr. Muhseen said: “We are delighted to have someone with the experience of Lakmal on board and we are sure Lakmal will take H201 to new heights delivering cost efficient solutions to our important customers”    H2O1 is at the forefront of introducing new water technology to provide cost effective solutions in the Sri Lankan markets working closely with global and regional industry leaders.
