Finco Technologies introduces Panasonic CCTV cameras to Sri Lankan market for first time

For the first-ever time, world renowned Japanese Panasonic CCTV cameras were introduced to the Sri Lankan market recently by Finco Technologies Ltd. A fully-owned subsidiary of Finco Group of Companies, Finco Technologies was incorporated in 2005 as a ‘One Stop IT Hub’ for all corporate IT solutions and integrations.

At the ceremony to officially launch the Panasonic CCTV cameras at Ramada Hotel in Colombo recently, Finco Technologies General Manager Ruwan Bandara, Regional Channel Manager Chathuranga Abeygunawardena and a large turnout of guests and well-wishers were present.

Speaking at the launch, Ruwan Bandara said: “The Japanese brand name Panasonic is not something new to both domestic and corporate customers in Sri Lanka. Panasonic is a world famous, reputed brand popular amongst them for almost half a century.”

“However, it is for the first-ever time that a range of Panasonic CCTV cameras are being introduced to the Sri Lankan market today. From now onwards, we will be the sole authorised sales agent for the products in Sri Lanka,” he said.

He further said: “We are confident that these CCTV cameras will become very popular amongst both domestic and corporate customers within a short period of time because of the remarkable reputation the signature Panasonic brand has built up over the decades and also because of the advanced features and unsurpassed performance of the CCTV cameras.”

Expressing his thoughts during the launch, Finco Technologies Regional Channel Manager Chathuranga Abeygunawardena said: “We now have a range of Panasonic CCTV camera models specially designed to suit the diverse needs of both domestic and corporate customers. We are making arrangements to distribute the CCTV cameras island-wide through a strong network of sales agents.”
