Ex-JKH Jit Gunaratne joins CIC Holdings Board

Ex-John Keells Holdings (JKH) fame Jit Gunaratne has been appointed to the Board of CIC Holdings PLC as an Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 6 January.

Jit counts 40 years of experience in strategic planning, production and distribution, industrial relations and change management in the food and beverage, plantations and leisure sectors in John Keells Holdings from where he retired last week. 

During his career at John Keells Holdings, he has held Directorships in several listed and private companies of the John Keells Group. He has been a Member of the Food Advisory Council of the Ministry of Health and a Member of the Council for Hotel and Tourism of the Employers’ Federation of Ceylon. He was the Founder Chairman of the Beverage Association of Sri Lanka.

With the latest appointment the Board of CIC Holdings comprises Harsha Amarasekera (Chairman), M.P. Jayawardena, Rusi S. Captain, Steven Enderby, P.R. Saldin, S. Fernando, Sujeewa Mudalige and Jit R. Gunaratne.
