European Chamber to host breakfast meeting on Strategic Corporate Sustainability

The European Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (ECCSL) will be hosting a breakfast meeting titled “Drive towards Strategic Relevance – A Seminar on Strategic Corporate Sustainability”. The keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Ravi Fernando (Executive in Residence at the INSEAD Social Innovation Centre and Chairman/CEO of Global Strategic Corporate Sustainability Ltd.) on “Board Leadership for Strategy Formulation – Managing Strategic Risks and Opportunities).

The keynote address will be followed by a panel discussion on “Should Sri Lanka embed Sustainability in its National Strategy”. The panel will consist of Sharika Senanayake (Director of Sustainability – MAS Holdings) and Tharuka Dissanaike (Policy and Design Specialist, Environment – UNDP Sri Lanka). 

The ECCSL has organised this breakfast meeting as a platform to discuss latest trends in Strategic Corporate Sustainability and hear from corporate leaders and policy makers on their success stories and actionable project ideas.

The ECCSL has an exclusive mandate to promote trade and investment opportunities between Sri Lanka and 28 European Union member countries. As the leading European business organisation, the ECCSL helps members/non-members to network with other businesses and maximise their business potential.

The event will be held on 29 March at Hilton Colombo Residences (JAIC) from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. 

The event is open for both members of the ECCSL and non-members.
