Ceylon Chamber to hold Post-Budget Seminar

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will hold a customary Post-Budget Seminar on 16 November at its auditorium.

The keynote speaker of the seminar, who will address the topic ‘Insights on Budget 2018’, will be State Minister of Finance Eran Wickramaratne. PricewaterhouseCoopers Director Charmaine Tillekeratne will make a presentation under the title ‘Salient features of the Government Budget 2018 from a tax perspective’.

Presentations by the speakers will be followed by a panel discussion and an open forum, which will enable participants to ask questions and clarify matters pertaining to the 2018 Budget proposals.

The panellists of the session will include Minister Wickramaratne; S.R. Attygalle - Deputy Secretary to the Treasury, Ministry of Finance and Planning; Duminda Hulangamuwa - Chairman Tax Committee, the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and Head of Tax Services and Partner, Ernst & Young Sri Lanka; Tillekeratne; Deshal De Mel - Advisor to the Ministry of Finance and Shiran Fernando - Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Chief Economist.
