Cabraal panellist at Samena Capital’s Strategic Ownership Group Meeting

Former Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal participated as a panellist at the Asia Panel of Samena Capital’s Strategic Ownership Group Meeting held on 6 April at the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai.  

In addition to Cabraal, the panel consisted of Cesar Purisima – Former Finance Secretary of Philippines, Gita Wirjawan – Former Trade Minister of Indonesia, Francis Leung – Co-Founder of Peregrine Group, Hong Kong, Sheikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa – Senior Economic Advisor to the Crown Prince of Bahrain, and Sheikh Yousef Abdullah Al Sabah – President, Arab Sea Ports Federation. 

The Panel was moderated by Dr. Fareed Zakaria – Host of Fareed Zakaria GPS, CNN’s flagship public affairs show.

The discussion focused on the current growth prospects and future potential of individual Asian countries and the Asian Region in general.
