CIMA President calls on Mangala

Chartered Institute of Management Accountant (CIMA) President David Stanford paid a courtesy call on Minister of Finance and Mass Media Mangala Samaraweera yesterday at the Treasury. 

Stanford was accompanied by Regional Vice President Venkkat Ramanan and two other CIMA officials. Deputy Secretary to Treasury C. Ekanayake was also present during the meeting. 

The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) is a UK-based professional body offering training and qualification in management accountancy and related subjects. It is focused on accountants working in industry, and provides ongoing support and training for members. 

Stanford is in Sri Lanka to be the Chief Guest for the Annual Convocation ceremony of CIMA held in Colombo on Wednesday.
