CIMA Business Leaders’ Summit on 4-5 Sept.

The 42nd CIMA Business Leaders’ Summit will be held at the Shangri-La, Colombo. The flagship event, held annually, will be under the theme ‘ART of Leading the Shift: Adaptability, Resilience, and Transformation’. 

The Business Leaders’ Summit is a sought-after event where many relevant topics are deliberated by corporate leaders. This year, CIMA reaches a golden landmark as it celebrates its centenary year. The Business Leaders’ Summit will reflect upon this mammoth history and also focus on key areas for businesses to go beyond and achieve sustainable success. Distinguished business leaders will gather to deliberate on the ART of Leading the Shift by reflecting on their experiences. The Summit will bring together more than 20 local and foreign speakers as well as panellists from diverse fields and industries. 

The inauguration will be held on 4 September from 6.30 p.m. onwards. The Chief Guest will be State Minister of Finance Eran Wickramaratne and the Guest of Honour will be British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Sarah Hulton, O.B.E. 

The thought leadership sessions will be held on 5 September from 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

The sessions scheduled for the thought leadership segment include: Leading the shift for over 100 years; Towards a Modern Era of Leadership; Technological Transformation – Path to achieving the extraordinary; ART of Leading the Shift – A panorama view; Transformation of the economic, finance and business landscape of Sri Lanka; and Professional negligence and the accountancy profession.
