Atlas Axillia recognised for outstanding workplace safety

The Special Achievement Award 2018 for most effective systematic implementation for safety at the National Occupational Safety and Health Excellence Awards being received on behalf of Atlas Axillia Co. by Director Operations Viraj Jayasooriya and Chief Human Resource Officer Lalani Weerarachchi from Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe

Atlas Axillia has been recognised for its outstanding levels of workplace health and safety at the recently concluded National Occupational Safety and Health Excellence Awards, which was held at the Mahinda Rajapakse Nelum Pokuna Theatre in Colombo. 

Atlas Axillia Co. Ltd. was presented with two Special Achievement Awards 2018 for occupational safety and health, and most effective systematic implementation for safety by the awarding body, the National Institute of Occupational Safety & Health. 

Speaking about the awards, Atlas Axilla Director – Operations Viraj Jayasooriya said: “It is an honour to have our diligent efforts recognized by the National Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH), which is the statutory body in Sri Lanka tasked with assessing and promoting workplace safety.
