Five more people diagnosed with COVID-19

Five more people were diagnosed with COVID-19 today, bringing the total number of cases to 335, the Health Ministry said.

Health Services Director General Dr. Anil Jasinghe releasing a statement said of the five new patients four were identified from the group of people quarantined from Bandaranayake Mawatha in Colombo 12.

The statement did not disclose where the remaining patient was identified from.

This brings the number of active cases in Sri Lanka to 223 and the number of hospitalised to 173.
