Countrywide curfew from Saturday night to Tuesday morning

All-island curfew will be imposed on Saturday night and will be lifted on Tuesday morning, the President's Media Division said today.

Curfew will be imposed countrywide from 8 p.m. on Saturday till 5 a.m. on Tuesday.

Curfew in Colombo and Gampaha will continue indefinitely, the statement added.

Curfew in other districts will be imposed at 8 p.m. tomorrow (23) and will be lifted at 5 a.m. on 26 May. Night-time curfew from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. will continue daily until further notice.
