Epic Lanka ties up with AIESEC for global internships

Epic Lanka tied up with AIESEC for global internships and exchange programs recently.

At present Epic Lanka works closely with several national universities in collaborative research, knowledge sharing, industry placement and research supervision.

The new partnership will enable foreign students also to receive world class industry training at Sri Lanka’s premier software solutions provider.

AIESEC, the world’s largest student-run organisation, is the international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential to have a positive impact on society.

In partnership with business and higher education, AIESEC has over 60 years of experience in developing students into globally-minded leaders. Founded in 1948, AIESEC is active in over 1,700 universities world-wide covering over 100 countries.

Epic Lanka who won the National Business Excellence Award in ICT sector in consecutive years has operations in Malaysia and Australia as well. Their award winning mobile banking solutions are now being implemented in several other countries in the region.

The AIESEC partnership for global internships will provide young ICT professionals from other countries in the region the opportunity to work with our software engineers who have proved Sri Lankan talents in designing and development of world class solutions, Krishan Jayewardane Senior Vice President of Epic Lanka said.
