President launches NSB iSaver

The NSB iSaver saving method, jointly created by National Savings Bank (NSB) and Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel, with the aim of further fostering the saving habit among Sri Lankans utilising modern communication technology, was held under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena at the NSB head office in Colombo yesterday.  Here he is seen launching the product while guests look on. The NSB iSaver is a novel concept in the field of digitisation and the service will enable customers to conveniently deposit their cash in NSB accounts at any time through 16,000 Mobitel mCash dealer centres island-wide using the NSB iSaver method
