Garbage, a hot topic in Paradise

Garbage has become a hot topic in Paradise. Paradise lost due to garbage issues. Now lives are lost due to collapse of a garbage dump that has accumulated over many years. Authorities and the private sector have not made use of turning garbage into revenue.

Many countries of the world are now turning garbage to energy, compost being the outdated method. We have done nothing. Many projects have been formulated, none have been implemented.

There is a big issue in hand to get rid of mountains of garbage accumulated over the past many years. Garbage is a valuable recourse for landfill. This has been the system for many years. The garbage mountains in the country have detonated to such as extent that the garbage has been converted to solid waste, ideal for landfill, other than a limited amount of polythene, plastic and Styrofoam.

A quick and cheap solution would be to use this garbage as landfill for the Financial City Project that is taking place at Port City. By this method we will be able to save on sand and granite which is currently being used. The garbage can be mixed with sand and boulders and used as land fill for the Port project.

If this is implemented the current issue of disposal of the garbage mountain can be solved fast. There won’t be protests by various parties with vested interest who do not allow any Government to solve the garbage mountain issue as the garbage mountain is also controlled by a mafia.

New garbage being collected can be converted into energy via projects to be started.
