Thailand Week 2017 in Colombo from 7-9 July

Thailand Week, an exclusive business opportunity and trade fair organised by the Department of International Trade Promotion of Thailand all over Asia, will make its maiden appearance in Sri Lanka in July this year. 

The Thai Trade Centre, Chennai, the overseas office representing the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, Thailand along with the Royal Thai Embassy, Colombo will organise ‘Thailand Week 2017 in Colombo’ from 7-9 July at Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall.

This event is the first of its kind in Colombo. The exhibition-cum-sale will showcase a great variety of lifestyle products directly from Thailand including health and beauty products, food and beverages, home decor, household products, fashion and fashion accessories, furniture and wellness and spa products including hotel supplies and much more.

A new business opportunity awaits whether it is setting up a distribution network, dealerships or entering into supplier arrangements with Thai traders and manufacturers. This is a good opportunity for the business community to establish new business ties, joint ventures and import-export collaboration with Thai counterparts. 

Hours of operation for the fair’s major activities are as follows: Trade day (B2B) 7 July, 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 a.m. and public day 7 July, 12.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m., 8-9 July, 9.30 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.

Along with the business networking opportunity and trade fair, Thai Trade Centre, Chennai, and the Royal Thai Embassy, Colombo, with great support from Thai Airways International, INSEE Cement and Anantara, will host delightful activities for you to experience Thainess such as traditional dance and music, Thai martial arts as well as Thai food and Thai cooking shows.
