Amal International School’s forward march in drama and theatre

Azeez House emerged Champions in the Inter House Drama Competition held end last month (30 April) at the Western Province Aesthetic Resort, Colombo 7.  Amal International School conducts the Inter House Drama Competition annually. Many students actively and enthusiastically take part in the competitions.

Students of Azeez House staged the drama ‘Villains Incorporated’ written By Mary J. Long. The cast comprised Adhil Osman, Inshaf Ahmed, Ilham Ismath, Amhar Ameen, Hisham Haneef, Faizal Furkan, Abdul Haq, Abdullah Fowz, Yusri Ashroff and Hasan Nazeer. Master Amhar Ameen was adjudged the Best Actor. History Teacher Zeenath Mohideen directed this teen play drama. 

Aqsa House, Arqam House and Arafath House were adjudged 1st, 2nd and 3rd Runner-up respectively at the above drama competition.

Raj Wijesinghe coordinated the competition and Hisham Jameel, Shalini Corea and Amaz Irshad officiated as judges.
