‘FastTrack15’ Sri Lanka’s premier internship program returns for 7th consecutive year!

Introduced in 2011, the country’s premier annual internship program ‘Fast Track15’ (FT15) organised by Ceylon Tobacco Company PLC, Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC and, John Keells Holdings PLC will commence in June 2017. 

Each year, FT15 succeeds at providing 15 undergraduates a unique opportunity to participate in a six week internship at all three companies which collaborate in this initiative.

FT15 returns for the seventh consecutive year and will once again engage talented interns in an unparalleled career experience. Exclusive exposure to the nine business sectors of Leisure, Real Estate, Consumer Foods and Retail, Manufacturing, Information Technology, Banking, Financial Services, and Transportation will allow participants to learn and understand the operations of each first-hand. Directed workshops will enhance soft skills covering areas such as business etiquette, leadership and, presentation skills, while teamwork will be developed through a significant group project.

Additionally, interns will be guided and mentored by professionals, given the chance to interact with prominent business personalities and immerse themselves in practical work assignments that aid in relating academic backgrounds to actual work places.

Certain previous participants of FT15 have been awarded opportunities within some of the partnering companies, in various positions, and have climbed their career ladders, which affirm the great value of this program as the foundation for bright career paths.
