Van believed to have been used in Noyahr’s abduction found

A van believed to have been used in the abduction of former journalist Keith Noyahr has been found in Piliyandala.

Noyahr was abducted in May 2008 and was severely assaulted before being set free.

Last month an Army Major and four soldiers were arrested over the abduction.

Last week another Army intelligence officer was arrested over the incident. The suspect was arrested in Minuwangoda. (Colombo Gazette)
