Germany is one of the world’s most attractive countries for research and higher education.  With over 300,000 foreign students Germany – after the US – is the second most attractive destination for foreign students. A variety of distinguished universities, an attractive range of fields and diverse financing possibilities make Germany a popular place for students from all over the world. International recognised university ranking lists feature 20 German Universities among the globe’s top 200 institutions.

Doctoral students at research training groups and graduate schools or non-university research schools either work on a research project as a research associate or receive a scholarship. While PhD programs are funded, most of the German universities are sponsored by the state to keep study-fees affordable, and the number of scholarships available keeps increasing.

Dr. Mundakana’s target groups were students in the last two semesters of their Bachelor program at any of the recognised Sri Lankan universities aspiring for Master courses in Germany and students who have completed 10 +2 and looking for  Bachelor programs in Germany.

The target group for research in Germany are students in the last two semester of their Master program at any recognised Sri Lankan university looking for PhD Programs in Germany and students who have registered for PhD at any Sri Lankan university and looking for a one year research stay at any German University or research institute. Also young and experienced Post-Doctoral fellows and faculty were welcomed.
