A group of MPs took an inspection tour of the Port City site as well as going on board Asia’s largest trailing suction hopper dredger Jun Yang 1 on Wednesday 22 February. China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) engineers were at hand to explain all the nitty-gritties of the operation, providing them with in-depth knowledge of the processes and timelines of the project. The inspection tour was requested by the Chief Government Whip of the Parliament and facilitated by the Ministry of Megapolis and Western Development.
